If your desktop or laptop is equipped with an OCuLink or Thunderbolt port, you can directly connect it to the KXS6715E PXIe Expansion Dock for use. For desktop without an OCuLink or Thunderbolt port, you can complete the connection by simply installing our provided PCIe-to-OCuLink card into the mainboard.

There is a notable difference in bus transfer rate between the OCuLink and Thunderbolt interfaces, with the transfer rate of the OCuLink interface being higher. This performance gap is significant especially when connecting using OCuLink 8-Lane mode, in which case the OCuLink interface's transfer rate will be substantially higher than that of Thunderbolt.
