How does the KXS6715E PXIe Expansion Dock connect to desktop or laptop, are there any special requirements?
If your desktop or laptop is equipped with an OCuLink or Thunderbolt port, you can directly connect it to the KXS6715E PXIe Expansion Dock for use. For desktop without an OCuLink or Thunderbolt port, you can complete the connection by simply installing our provided PCIe-to-OCuLink card into the mainboard.
How to determine the streaming bandwidth when configuring kyR-xTS on a signal analyzer?
When the kyR-xTS is configured on a KRA, KCA, or KVE82000C series wideband signal analyzer, its streaming bandwidth is factory-set to be identical to the instantaneous analysis bandwidth of the mainframe. For example, if the mainframe is configured with an instantaneous bandwidth of 1 GHz, the streaming-to-disk bandwidth of the complete system after configuring the kyR-xTS will also be 1 GHz.
How to determine the continuous playback bandwidth when configuring kyT-xTS on a signal generator?
When the kyT-xTS is configured on a KRG, KCG, or KVG62000C series wideband signal generator, its continuous playback bandwidth is factory-set to be identical to the instantaneous generation bandwidth of the mainframe. For example, if the mainframe is configured with an instantaneous bandwidth of 1 GHz, the continuous playback bandwidth of the complete system after configuring the kyT-xTS will also be 1 GHz.
What is kyMOS?
kyMOS - Kinyea MARSA Operation System, is an operation system-like software based on the MARSA architecture. Currently, kyMOS includes MARSA operation system software such as kyMCSA, kyMCSG, kyScope, and kyTEM. Based on MARSA modules and equipment, this software provides standard processing functions that meet common industry needs in fields like signal analysis, signal generation, waveform capture, and automated testing.
Can the KRP1517 PXIe High-Performance Coprocessor support custom logic loading?
Yes, it supports. The KRP1517 PXIe High-Performance Coprocessor standard with FPGA firmware upgrade software, which supports a convenient dynamic loading function, making it easy for you to load custom logic and algorithms.
Are the KSO series PXIe Oscilloscopes and the KDZ series PXIe High-Speed Digitizers have identical functions? How to distinguish them?
The KSO series PXIe Oscilloscopes and the KDZ series PXIe High-Speed Digitizers are based on a same design origin, but they have distinct functional differences. Compared to the KDZ series High-Speed Digitizers, the KSO series PXIe Oscilloscopes include additional channel control and signal conditioning paths. While their analog bandwidth is lower than that of the digitizers, they can acquire a wider range of input signal amplitudes and feature functions such as switchable high/low impedance and AC/DC coupling.
Does the PXIe Expansion Dock products require additional drivers? Are they compatible with modules from other manufacturers?
The KXS6715E PXIe Expansion Dock does not require additional drivers, only need to install the drivers for the modular instruments on the computer. When making the bus connection, cold-plugging (connecting/disconnecting with the power off) is recommended. Morever, the Universal Dock supports hot-plugging when using the Thunderbolt interface. The PXIe Expansion Dock is designed in accordance with the PCIe-related sections of the PXIe standard, ensuring compatibility with modules from other manufacturers.
