kyMCSA is the standard, pre-installed application for WSA and WST series products as-shipped configuration. kyMCSA can perform standard functions like spectrum analysis, swept-frequency detection, power analysis, and I/Q analysis. Furthermore, it also serves as the MARSA® Operation System (kyMOS) for installing the feature-rich suite of powerful kySP (Kinyea Signal Packet). The kySP suite covers both advanced measurement functions and various types of signal analysis. Advanced measurement functions include pulse measurements, phase noise measurements, noise figure measurements, and more. Signal analysis functions include analog/digital demodulation, communications / avionics / navigation and data link signal analysis and so on.

kyMCSA provides you with 6 traces and 6 markers. ▶Traces: Clear Write, Trace Average, Max Hold, and Min Hold. ▶Markers: Normal, Delta, and Fixed. The normal marker function provides N dB Bandwidth, Noise Marker, Frequency Counter, and Peak Search capabilities.
kyMCSA can provide dynamic waveform display within the hardware's supported frequency range, selectable sample rates, and data lengths. The display modes can show I-data or Q-data in the real domain, as well as combined I/Q data in the complex domain. Within the complex domain, it also supports display in linear or logarithmic vector formats. Additionally, based on user-configured record settings, kyMCSA can continuously record, analyze, and export multiple sets of I/Q data.
